Peter Abano's milestone birthday will go down in history as one of the most awful, and wonderful. He finds himself newly single, depressed and ready to give up, until a younger mysterious stranger appears. The lessons he will learn are: Friends are everything, it's never too late to find love - and brunch is sacred.  This feature film is directed by A.J. Ciccotelli and written by A.J. Ciccotelli & Gian Carlo Durland based on A.J.'s play. The cinematography and editing is by Eric Hackler.   It stars Gian Carlo Durland, Phil Korz, Christine Nagy, Doug Bollinger and Geoff Shields. The film is produced by Row Boat Productions in association with La Strada Ensemble Theater and Checker liar Pictures.

The Dance

Sitting 20 years in a drawer, Oliver Boltzman has to do some rewriting on his play for it's upcoming production, he complicates matters by casting his wife in the role based on his dead girlfriend and a young leading man old enough to be her son.   Oliver struggles with the past of losing his girlfriend to disease, putting on this play that was never meant to be performed and his already strained relationship with his wife.  This short film is written and directed by A.J. Ciccotelli based on his play.  The cinematography and editing is by Eric Hackler.   It stars Doug Bollinger as Oliver, Christine Nagy as Clara/Kerry and Anthony O'Connell as Mark/Denny.  The film is produced by Soul Mate 17 Productions is association with La Strada Ensemble Theater and Checker Liar Pictures.  

Ricky's Story

The year is 2006.  Maxwell McMillian has it all, a string of successful novels and soberity then he receives word that his son Ricky was killed while on military service in Iraq. He attempts to write his son's eulogy for his upcoming memorial service while battling the demons of his past. This short film is directed by Donna Ault-Jacobson and written by Dennis Gribben based on his play.  It stars A.J. Ciccotelli as Maxwell, Christine Nagy as Anna, Ross Sullivan as Ricky, Jakob Walsh as Albert, Evan Black as Father Anderson and Hudson Morici as Young Ricky .  The film is produced by La Strada Ensemble Theater.

Jim is a criminal psychology major that wants to score an 'A' for his paper by interviewing an actual real life serial killer.  His plans are foiled when the go between guy is actually the killer himself that lures him into a trap. In a dangerous cat and mouse game will Jim survive in the killer's lair to receive the 'A' he seeks?  This short film is written and directed by A.J. Ciccotelli based on his play.  It stars Dominik Faruolo as Jim, Evan Black as Mico, Bethany Harding as Sharon, Michelle Starvos as Professor Bray and April Colaianni as Denise.  This film is produced by La Strada Ensemble Theater.

John returns to his 25th year high school reunion to confront his bully from his high school years.  He confronts Bill who has turned his life around in the past 25 years and has come out tonight to reconnect with a few old friends, have a few laughs and eat some fatty finger foods you would normally forgo.  Will John get a confession out of Bill so he can get his revenge?  This short film is directed by Donna Ault-Jacobson and written by Gerry Ringwald based on his play.  The cinematography and editing is by Eric Hackler.   It stars Curtis Scott Dunn as John and A.J. Ciccotelli as Bill.  It is produced by La Strada Ensemble Theater in association with Soul Mate 17 Productions and Checker Liar Pictures.
